Isle of Wight Celebrates Exam Success

Sue Lucas

FIVE members of the Isle of Wight Moore office are celebrating recent exam success, as they get even closer to achieving their AAT and ACA qualifications.

With no previous accounting experience or accounting qualifications, Matthew Blake has sailed through level 3 of his AAT qualification and has recently started level 4. The AAT qualification is based on practical, real world accounting knowledge. When Matthew successfully passes level 4, he hopes to move onto the ACA qualification.

Bryony Davies, Sam Snudden and Toby Rumsey have already excelled through their AAT qualifications and are now confidently moving through six modules, to eventually receive their ACA qualification, which will give them the title of ‘Chartered Accountant’.

Toby has completed the first stage of his ACA qualification. The ACA qualification is recognised as a worldwide qualification and helps students to develop a thorough technical understanding of accountancy.
Bryony has now completed all modules at professional level towards her ACA and this gives her the title of a ‘Part Qualified Chartered Accountant’, she will now move onto the advanced level, with just three modules remaining.

Bryony said –
I have been studying for two years towards this qualification, and I am really pleased I've reached this milestone. With only three exams to go, the end is definitely in sight. It's been a challenge so far, and with two exams coming up in November, I can't take a break just yet. I'm looking forward to having Christmas off from revision!”

The studying and exam sitting is all over for Vicky Drayton, as Vicky celebrates becoming a Qualified Chartered Accountant. Vicky had this to say on her achievement:

“After three years of hard studying I can finally call myself a qualified Chartered Accountant, which is a huge relief! It always seemed that the day would never arrive; now that it has I am very much looking forward to not sitting anymore exams and enjoying my free time. The qualification has been challenging but also very rewarding at the same time and I can now start to build on the knowledge I have gained.”

Managing Partner Sue Lucas said of her five trainees achievement I am delighted with the results of our fantastic trainees; they have, and continue to work hard at their studies, whilst delivering excellent client service and are a credit to Moore.”
