Moore hits fundraising target

Rachel Thomas

Northamptonshire-based accountants Moore raised £1,700 for their 2016/17 Charity of the Year, the Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, hitting the target they set themselves back at the start of the year to raise enough money to pay for one lifesaving mission.

Moore Charity Committee organisers Amanda Etty, Lorna Bloor and Jen Arber were thrilled with the outcome. Said Amanda: “We’re delighted to have raised so much money to support the vital work of the Air Ambulance and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who contributed.”

Jen continued: “When we set the target at £1,700 we honestly thought it was very ambitious, but why not aim high! This is an amazing result, and it’s all down to the incredible generosity of Moore’ staff.”

The money was raised through a series of monthly fundraising initiatives including a pizza and Bingo night, charity auctions, quizzes, dress down days, raffles, bake sales and much more.
