Fantastic awards evening recognising the achievements of local businesses

Moore were proud to be nominated for one of the categories at the Observer and Gazette Business Awards recently. The awards are for businesses based in the Chichester, Bognor Regis, Petworth and Littlehampton areas and there were 19 award categories in total ranging from best start up business, to employer of the year, training business of the year and overall business of the year. Moore had the privilege of being nominated for large business of the year.

The awards were presented at a glitzy ceremony held at the Hilton Avisford Park Hotel and although we didn't win our category we are pleased to be recognised. We would like to congratulate the winners, Millstone Landscaping, who came first in the large business of the year category and went on to win overall business of the year award. We were beaten by the best!! A lifetime achievement award was made to Roger Elsmere, the founder of Woods Travel. Roger is an old friend and it was great to see him recognised in this special way.

The awards dinner and process was a huge success and we look forward to being involved again next year... if we get nominated. Andrew Henshaw, managing partner of our Chichester office commented "It is important for us recognise the success and achievements of our local businesses, and for everyone to have the opportunity to get together and network. What better way do so than at a glamorous evening event".
