Quiz money funds buys new white goods for halow project's young people

Following the extremely successful quiz held in September that raised over £1,000, Moore Guildford's staff went to visit one of the halow project’s supported living properties.  The funds bought a washing machine and two tumble dryers, which have been installed in two of the properties in the area where young people with a learning disability live independently.

Head of halow care, Lucy Chaudhuri commented: “Support like this from a local company is so important to a small charity like halow. We are very grateful to Moore for their ongoing support and their interest in halow. Our young people love their new equipment and it has made life much easier for them.”

Moore Partner, Danielle Griffin added: “We are so pleased to be able to purchase this new equipment for halow’s young people. We’re particularly happy that these items will make the lives of these young people easier and afford them even more independence.”
