Companies House Fees Increasing from 1 May 2024

Danni Rees

Companies House has announced that some of its fees will be increasing effective 1 May 2024. This adjustment is part of their annual review process to fund ongoing operations and new activities related to measures in the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act. Companies House fees are set on a cost recovery basis; they must cover the cost of the services Companies House deliver and not generate profit.

Companies House, the government agency responsible for maintaining the UK's register of companies, regularly evaluates its fee structure to ensure alignment with the expenses associated with delivering its services. The upcoming fee increase reflects the need to sustain the quality and efficiency of services offered to businesses nationwide.
