Don't be tricked this Halloween

Mike Wakeford

When most people think of October 31st, ghosts, goblins and ghouls spring to mind.

However, it actually marks the date of something much more sinister… the paper tax return deadline.

We understand that tax deadlines may not be at the forefront of everyone’s mind, but this is the last day that you are able to submit a paper tax return; and HMRC are not too keen on giving out treats.

Instead, you will be rewarded with a trick for late submission – usually in the form of a fine.

Don’t get caught up in a nightmare this Halloween.
