The Moore the Merrier win again

Moore south's team, The Moore the Merrier, with Glanvilles partner Lance Terry

Hot on the heels of organising quizzes for charity in Guildford and Newport, this week it was the turn of the Moore team in Chichester to take part in a quiz. Legal firm Glanvilles organised the quiz at Port Solent on Wednesday 21 October in aid of The Sussex Snowdrop Trust. A whopping 35 teams took part, a brilliant effort by Glanvilles, representing a wide range of local professionals and businesses. The event raised over £1,135 for the Trust.

Having won the 2014 quiz by a single point the pressure was on the Moore south team, The Moore the Merrier, to repeat their success. The same five man team of Andrew, Graham, Jon, Stephen and Stewart, held off a strong field, in particular in the challenging double or quits final round. By avoiding a wrong answer and a possible nil score for the round, they emerged with a total score of 91 points, four ahead of their nearest rival.

Team member Graham Francis said "It was another great effort by the team. We seem to have an ability to dredge up all sorts of useless information at just the right time!"

Quiz season continues next month when Moore south's Chichester office will be hosting their own charity quiz, on 25 November, which coincidentally is also in aid of The Sussex Snowdrop Trust.
