Salisbury office support Breast Cancer Unit Campaign

Moore Stephens Salisbury office are delighted to be sponsoring ‘Tissue’ which is raising funds for their charity of the year, The Stars Appeal, Breast Cancer Unit Campaign.

‘Tissue’ by Louise Page is a play about breast cancer and is produced and directed by Dan Avery, a local actor and director. In between acting roles, Dan works as a nursing assistant on an acute medical ward where his natural humour and empathy has made him a popular member of the team amongst staff and patients alike. His work at the hospital inspired him to organise the event.

A black tie Gala Opening Night is being held at The Studio Theatre on Saturday 2 May, doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £20 per person (+ booking fee) and all proceeds will go towards the Breast Cancer Unit Campaign. The opening night promises an evening of entertainment. Guests will enjoy a champagne reception and a silent auction is also taking place.

Dan and his cast of professional actors are donating their time for free and following on from the Gala Opening Night there will be 6 further evening performances at £10 per person (+ booking fee) through until Saturday 9 May.

Robert Newman, partner, commented “We are again pleased to support The Stars Appeal, a fabulous local charity which does so much worthwhile work for the benefit of local people. It has been a pleasure to work with Dan and be involved with the project right from the start."
