The sun was shining, Pimm's flowing, accompanied by scrumptious strawberry shortcakes, and a great group of clients and business professionals in attendance at the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club to hear about how the announcements the previous week are most likely to affect them.Sue Lucas, managing partner of Moore Isle of Wight, presented on the highlights and surprises from the Chancellors first wholly Conservative budget, handing out the essential Budget Report as a point of reference throughout her presentation and for reference going forward.There was lively discussion regarding the changes in the tax action of dividends and the way forward for residential landlords.The highlight of the day was definitely the strawberry shortcake and luckily there were enough left over for a little takeaway.Click here if you would like to be invited to our next Budget event on the Isle of Wight.
