Salisbury office supports Star Student Awards

Moore Salisbury were delighted to sponsor the Wiltshire College Star Student Awards for the fourth year running.  The awards recognise and reward students who have excelled in their chosen course or subject.

The annual awards evening was held on Thursday 25 June at Wiltshire College and there were over 30 awards representing the wide range of different subject areas available to students.

Robert Macdonald, Associate, presented Peter Carter with the Award for Outstanding Achievement AAT.

Having had a career break Peter decided last year to pursue an Accounting career.  He joined the Fast Track AAT Level 2/3 course as part of a small group and will be progressing to Level 4 next year.

Kizito Mugomba, the Wiltshire College AAT Tutor who sponsored Peter commented "Peter has shown a distinct ability to listen to his colleagues and help them when needed.  He has volunteered to help on the computerised bookkeeping part-time course in his own time.  He has also helped a colleague with their GCSE Maths.  Apart from his first time passes for all eleven AAT units - some 'all exceeded' - he has also successfully passed IAB Payroll at both Levels 1 and 2."

Robert Macdonald commented: "As a firm we are passionate about supporting the local community and are  delighted to help reward students for their hard work and success in the last year.  We appreciate the importance of students getting the right training and how it sets them up to progress to the next level in their professional exams."
