Help us help the Samson Centre

Moore Guildford are organising a charity pub quiz to be held in October which this year will be in support of the Samson Centre for MS, a local charity providing practical and emotional support for people with MS, as well as their families and carers.

From its unassuming building on the outskirts of Guildford the Samson Centre for MS provides over 3,500 physiotherapy sessions, almost 4,000 exercise classes, over 2,500 gym sessions and approximately 2,500 oxygen therapy treatments to people who are living with multiple sclerosis in Surrey and the surrounding areas.

Funds raised from the quiz will be used to purchase a Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) unit which provides electrical stimulation to a person’s leg to help them walk better, and a training course for one of the physiotherapists to attend to be able to use the equipment.

Partner, Danielle Griffin said: “Having visited the centre and seen first hand the amazing work the Samson Centre for MS carries out, we are delighted to support them in raising funds to purchase this equipment which will make a difference to individuals using the Centre. Further, we hope that the quiz helps to spread the word about this wonderful charity so they gain even more support amongst the local business community”.

Invitations have been sent out this week, if you have not received one and would like more information, please contact Katheryne Pascoe at
