Springtime promotions

The new financial year is here and what better way to celebrate the start than by announcing the partnership promotions that form part of Moore (South) LLP's growth plans for the region:

Appointments

Andrew Coldwell Joint Group Managing Partner of Moore (South) LLP with current Group Managing Partner Mark Weil
Andy Williams Managing Partner of the Salisbury office. Andy succeeds Andrew in this role.
Jonathan Green Tax Partner based in Salisbury. Jonny joins Moore (South) LLP Chairman Robert Newman and new Managing Partner Andy Williams
Louise Hastings Partner based in Chichester. Louise joins Managing Partner Andrew Henshaw, Group Managing Partner Mark Weil, Andrea Wulff, Graham Francis and tax partner Mike Wakeford

Commenting on the appointments Andrew Coldwell said: “These are significant changes for the firm and mark the start of a new chapter in our 65 year history. Having overseen the growth of both the Southampton and Salisbury offices over the last 8 years, I am looking forward to my new role in earnest and applying the skills I’ve gained to the ongoing success of the group as a whole. We have a clear vision to become the first choice for local businesses and individuals in the region and are committed to providing a personal, partner-led and value-added service to each and every client.

“I have every confidence that the Salisbury office will continue to go from strength to strength in Andy’s capable hands. He is undoubtedly the right person for the job with his exceptional ability to inspire others and proven expertise in advising companies, charities and more recently academies throughout the South.

Andrew added: “I am delighted that both Jonathan and Louise have joined the partnership. They are both a great asset to the firm and have been since the day they joined. I am especially pleased that both partner appointments this year are internal candidates who have come through our leadership programme with flying colours.”

Andy Williams said: "I feel privileged to be taking on the role of Managing Partner of Moore in Salisbury and to be leading the continued expansion of the office. I believe we have one of the most dynamic and experienced teams in the area and are well placed to build on our reputation for providing the responsive, proactive advice clients expect and need in these fast moving times."

Jonathan Green commented: “I am very excited to be shaping the future of the firm. The world of tax never stands still and whilst I’m sure my new role will present many challenges, I have a great team to work with and plenty of support to call upon through our national and international network. We are constantly looking to improve our clients’ experience and together we will be developing innovative new ways to deliver our tax and advisory services.”

Louise Hastings joins Andrea Wulff as the second female partner in the Chichester office. Her appointment is testament to Moore (South) LLP's commitment to recognizing and promoting women in business. Andrea and Louise have recently set up a women's networking group in the area.

Louise's promotion takes the gender ratio in the group to 33% of female to male partners. This is higher than the industry average and the 25% target set by the government for female representation on FTSE 100 boards.

I’m delighted to have been appointed a partner, it’s such a great opportunity” said Louise “I’m looking forward to driving the business forward and to developing my expertise in advising schools and academies. Most of my family are in education, so it’s an area that is close to my heart and one that I know very well and appreciate even more as a parent.”
