More than £700 raised so far for the Northamptonshire Air Ambulance

Rachel Thomas

The Moore team in Corby have so far raised more than £700 for this year’s Charity of the Year, the Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.

The charity committee, led by Amanda Etty and Jen Arber from the Audit & Accounts team and Lorna Bloor, Business Support Manager, have run a number of fundraising events including a bowling night, Bake Off cake competition, blind chocolate taste test, guess the number of sweets in a jar, Euro’s football predictor and many more.

Said Amanda: “Our goal is to raise £1,700 in total which is the cost of one mission for the Air Ambulance.   Staff across the firm have been incredibly generous and we’re well on the way to reaching our target with much more planned for the next few months.”

Jen added: “We chose the Northamptonshire Air Ambulance as our Charity of the Year because we’ve been really inspired by the amazing job they do saving lives across the region.”

With plenty more activities planned for the next few months, the team are determined to smash their total by the end of the financial year.  Watch this space!
